The Australian regulatory warning concerning OakshireTrustAI contains an important detail that could easily be missed: the website identified by the regulator is not a conventional OakshireTrustAI-branded domain.

The exact address is au.esecuinsti.com.

OakshireTrustAI and that domain have been added to the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) MoneySmart Investor Alert List. ASIC explains that entities appearing on this list may target Australian consumers, do not hold a current Australian Financial Services licence or Australian Credit Licence from ASIC, and are not allowed to offer investments in Australia.

The warning has also entered the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) I-SCAN network, where OakshireTrustAI (au.esecuinsti.com) appears with a date of 24 September 2026 and Australia’s ASIC identified as the source regulator.

What ASIC’s Warning Establishes

The regulatory evidence is specific about the combination investors need to preserve:

  • Name: OakshireTrustAI
  • Website: https://au.esecuinsti.com
  • Source regulator: Australian Securities and Investments Commission

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) tells consumers to be wary of entities appearing on its Investor Alert List. ASIC’s guidance states that listed businesses and websites do not hold a current Australian Financial Services licence or Australian Credit Licence from the regulator and are not permitted to offer investments in Australia.

The alert is also internationally visible through IOSCO I-SCAN. The international record identifies the same OakshireTrustAI name and au.esecuinsti.com, with Australia’s ASIC shown as the regulator.

That does not mean IOSCO conducted another investigation. I-SCAN circulates warnings supplied by member regulators. ASIC remains the source authority for this alert.

This exact-domain approach is important. Retrieve Lost Token previously encountered it in the CapBit AI investigation, where AI-oriented branding could easily distract from the more important question: who operates the precise website receiving investor money?

The Strange Part of This Case Is au.esecuinsti.com

Unlike many warned trading platforms, OakshireTrustAI is not identified by ASIC through an obvious branded address such as “oakshiretrustai.com.” The regulator instead identifies a subdomain of esecuinsti.com.

That matters because an investor searching only “OakshireTrustAI” may encounter completely different websites using the same name.

Our research found, for example, oakshiretrustai.com, which currently presents itself not as an investment platform but as an Australian sustainability-strategy studio. It advertises services involving climate, tourism, supply-chain resilience, community consultation and regulatory planning.

Another separate website, oakshiretrustai.io, contains cryptocurrency-trading marketing and states that it provides information about third-party Bitcoin trading platforms. Its own disclosures say the website’s commercial names do not refer to a specific company or service provider and that personal information may be transferred to third-party business partners.

Those discoveries are useful for one reason: they demonstrate why the exact domain in ASIC’s warning must not be replaced by a company name alone.

We have not found sufficient evidence to state that oakshiretrustai.com or oakshiretrustai.io is operated by the same people responsible for au.esecuinsti.com. ASIC’s warning examined here identifies the latter. The other domains should not automatically inherit that warning merely because they use the OakshireTrustAI name.

The underlying esecuinsti.com domain is also extremely recent. Public WHOIS information places its registration on 5 August 2026. Within weeks, its Australian subdomain was associated with OakshireTrustAI in an ASIC investor alert circulated internationally on 24 September.

A young domain does not prove fraud by itself. What makes the timing relevant is its combination with an official warning concerning investment activity.

Retrieve Lost Token saw a related verification problem in its Landix Group investigation, where the public identity surrounding an investment operation had to be separated from what Australia’s regulator could actually verify.

“AI” Should Not Distract From the Payment Trail

The OakshireTrustAI name combines two concepts that can inspire confidence: trust and artificial intelligence.

Neither establishes financial authorisation.

AI-based trading systems can be genuine technologies, but an algorithm does not identify the legal entity receiving a customer’s deposit. It does not establish where money is held, whether client assets are segregated, what regulator supervises the operator or whether a displayed account balance represents assets that can actually be withdrawn.

This is why anyone dealing with OakshireTrustAI should concentrate on the actual transaction rather than the sophistication of the investment presentation.

If a representative claims that OakshireTrustAI operates through another licensed company, independently locate that company in the regulator’s official register. Then verify whether the regulator records au.esecuinsti.com as an authorised website of that entity. A licence belonging to an unrelated company does not authorise another website to use it.

The same issue arose in Retrieve Lost Token’s Murray Capholm investigation, where AI-assisted trading claims still left investors needing independent answers about the legal entity and regulatory permissions behind the platform.

If money has already been transferred, preserve the original advertisement or message that led to OakshireTrustAI, the exact registration URL, emails, telephone numbers, WhatsApp or Telegram conversations, dashboard screenshots and every withdrawal request.

For bank payments, retain the beneficiary name, account or IBAN, receiving institution, SWIFT details, payment reference, amount and date. If the beneficiary name bears no obvious relationship to OakshireTrustAI, preserve that information rather than assuming it is irrelevant.

For cryptocurrency payments, save the receiving wallet address, transaction hash, asset, amount and date. Blockchain tracing may help establish subsequent movements and identify exchanges or other services along the transaction path. It does not guarantee recovery, but it can provide an independent record of where digital assets moved.

Be cautious if a withdrawal leads to demands for additional tax, insurance, AML verification, security deposits, liquidity charges, wallet activation or blockchain release fees. Legitimate fees can exist, but unexpected payments demanded solely to release an existing balance should be independently verified before more money is sent.

Retrieve Lost Token’s BitNest investigation explains why transaction records can become considerably more important than balances displayed inside a platform-controlled account.

For OakshireTrustAI Victims, Preserve the Exact URL

The most important practical lesson from this particular warning is unusually simple: do not record the platform name without recording the website.

The regulatory combination is OakshireTrustAI + au.esecuinsti.com.

That exact domain appears in the ASIC MoneySmart Investor Alert List and subsequently through IOSCO I-SCAN. Other websites using the OakshireTrustAI name should be investigated on their own evidence rather than automatically treated as the same operation.

This is also why domain preservation mattered in Retrieve Lost Token’s Rovencrest investigation: online investment names can change or appear in multiple forms, while the exact URL provides a much stronger identifier for tracing what an investor actually encountered.

If you have already paid through OakshireTrustAI, preserve au.esecuinsti.com, any other domains used during registration or trading, and the complete payment trail before access changes.

Track Your Recovery Case or Contact Retrieve Lost Token to have the transaction history assessed and determine what tracing and recovery options may be available.

Disclaimer

This investigation is based primarily on the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) MoneySmart Investor Alert List entry identifying OakshireTrustAI and au.esecuinsti.com. The warning is also visible through the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) I-SCAN, where ASIC is identified as the source regulator. IOSCO circulation is not presented as a separate enforcement finding. Other websites using the OakshireTrustAI name are not treated as the same operator without evidence connecting them to the exact warned domain. An investor alert is not, by itself, a criminal conviction or court judgment.
